Abstract

Movement is a complex life phenomenon, in the creation of which the coordinated functioning of the body plays an important role, thus movement can be interpreted as the body reacting to the effects of the environment. Education broken down by subject is a claim that supports the fact that it is important to explore the relationship between individual subjects, because all of this is of cardinal interest from the point of view of knowledge transfer. The primary aim of this study was to compare the curriculum requirements essential for the teaching profession and to carry out an analysis in the light of the appearance of Physical Education and Science curricula. In order to achieve the aims, we used referred literature research, flow charts, matrixes, SWOT analyses and descriptive graphs. The information used in these methods helped to carry out a comparative analysis of the subject of Physical Education (grades 5-8), Biology (grades 7-8) and Science (grades 5-6), and to be able to establish decision-making conclusions. From this knowledge, it became clear how well the given subjects fit together or how much their structure differs in light of the subject area of movement and natural science subjects, also, it can be seen how the curricula and recommendations of the subjects correspond to scientific knowledge.
