Abstract

Team building programmes and community events play a crucial role in the life of a business. Good employee relationships facilitate communication and result in better quality work and products. Family environment and good working conditions contribute to employee satisfaction and commitment to the company. We surveyed the employees of a small food processing company in the Southern Great Hungarian Plain on how they evaluated the company management's efforts in this direction over the last three years. Based on the survey results, the employees appreciate the programmes introduced with the intention of team building and community formation. They willingly participate in the programmes; communication within the company and the working atmosphere have also improved.
