Absztrakt

Today in the knowledge and learning-based economy the continuous development is essential. The business sphere reaches this goal through innovation, competitiveness and organizational learning. In my comprehensive essay I will present the characteristics of innovative and competitive companies. I will elaborate on the executives’ implicit and explicit analysis on innovation, which contain the main features of companies with weak and good innovation results. Besides the definition of learning organization, the study presents the terms of “knowledge management” and “knowledge transfer”. The publication also demonstrates the characteristics and attributes of the creative organization. I am analyzing the organizational development relations of corporate competitiveness and innovation with Quinn’s organizational development model. The model’s fourth element is the innovation oriented culture, which includes creativity, problem solving, competitive spirit and continuous training and learning. At the end of my essay I compare the organizational culture of the private and public sphere.
